Windows on each floor are topped with eaves where the lighting is installed. Layered through these eaves, the illumination is mesmerizing. The lighting design, visible even from afar, helps one feel the elegance of The Peninsula, one of the flagship hotels in Asia. Its interior as a whole renders the Japanese aesthetics of wa-harmony, thus providing a space where technique and materials used by Japanese craftsmen can be appreciated.
